I visited this cinema alone and it was a delightful discovery. The atmosphere is very cool; they even prepare pizza and popcorn to accompany the film. Although the theater is small, it is well-crafted, featuring perfect sound and comfortable seating. They also organize many cinematic events.
Great experience for a day out. Good food, good coffee and good movies. What more do you want? Sit outside by the fountain and enjoy the scenery in the shade of the trees. The menu also has good gluten free pizza options.
This is such a cute, cozy movie theatre. We watched Power Ballad and absolutely loved it. It makes for such a lovely date spot, but it's also a wonderful space for families. The ticket prices are incredibly reasonable, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. This is one of those special local gems that truly deserves more support and recognition. We'll definitely be back!
We had the best night out at The Bioscope at 44 Stanley! From the moment we arrived, the experience felt different from your typical movie night. The parking area is well-lit and secure, which immediately puts you at ease. Although most of the restaurants in the area had already closed for the evening, the Bioscope section was still buzzing with life and had such a lovely atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced, and the service was excellent throughout the evening. What really makes The Bioscope special is its quirky charm. The cinema features old car seats instead of traditional movie seats, which adds so much character and makes the experience feel unique and memorable. They also have a great mix of current releases and classic favourites, so there's something for everyone. If you're looking for a fun and refreshing alternative to the usual cinema experience, I highly recommend The Bioscope. It's the perfect spot for a date night, an evening with friends, or simply something a little different.
Amazing experience from the moment I arrived, staff are friendly and professional. Cinema experience was just as good as the big guys, loved the ambience and the artistic set-up. Will definitely keep an eye out for more viewings.
