Awesome place but I would recommend calling to book before showing up. They were extremely busy and we had to wait for service. Other than that the food was amazing and the place is clean and well looked after. Definitely one for a ladies day out.
A lovely, indoor/outdoor restaurant venue for families to relax but also to host private functions. The staff were attentive, helpful and offered amazing service on the day. Being that I only eat halaal meals, the venue was very helpful in that apart from the platters served on the day, they also served a halaal platter for myself and my husband. Meaning that both sides of my family were well catered for, halaal and non-halaal. They have many activities for children but also painting for adults which looked like a real treat. It is quiet, quaint and a lovely venue overall
the waiting and ordering process is what makes the experience not worth it. I don't think waiting an hour for food is acceptable. And mind you I waited an hour for smashed avo. Check the pictures. DO BETTER SECRET GARDEN
The Secret Tea Garden is a serene place, quite beautiful and it has the potential to be better than it is The food was ok nothing to rave about unfortunately. It was a bit disappointing because as mentioned it has potential and it seems popular, it was quite full on the day we were there. We went there to celebrate 3 birthdays and I liked the carrot cake. The ambience was lovely and the service wasn't bad, we didnt wait as long as I thought we would. The play area needs a lot of work though it does not look good. I think with some revamping this place can be much better
I haven't been here since I was a child and my mom bringing me here with family or childhood friends. Was a blast from the past, super nostalgic and so good to see the standard and quality is probably as good as 20 years ago. Was great to come with some new family and their little ones and seeing the next generation play here. Service was good. Food was great. Setting is awesome and the main building is so interesting to walk through and be in a piece of history.
