The Montecasino Bird Gardens exceeded all my expectations! The incredible variety of birds and other wildlife was absolutely breathtaking, and it was clear that the animals are well cared for. The entire facility was spotless, beautifully maintained, and a pleasure to walk through. Every member of staff I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and happy to assist, which made the experience even more enjoyable. If you're visiting Johannesburg, this is an absolute must-see attraction. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the city!
Very clean and beautiful place. There are many different species of birds, and also some reptiles. Everything is well maintained and pleasant to walk around. We really enjoyed it. The only downside was that the bird show lasted only about 15 minutes — we expected it to be longer.
Great walk about through the park. Lots of birds and reptiles to see. Lemurs are a great attraction. Just felt the peace was ruined the music that can be heard from the main centre's entertainment area.
Great Park with birds and reptiles. Email but worth the price. They also have a Bird Show 2x a day.
It was a wonderful day of discovery for my daughter and me. Of course, the kids learned about different types of birds and animals, and they had the chance to see them in person. The area is well-maintained and very clean, with a safe parking lot right next to the garden where you can park without worry. It is a place we will visit again.
