A nice spot for a good meal and upbeat vibes with plenty of outdoor seating perfect for a sunny day. The service was quick and friendly. The menu features the classics from burgers, wraps and pizzas, with some South African twists - like having your curry served up bunny chow style or with rice. The bobotie nachos is another fun South African fusion cuisine option. They also serve the classic Belgian beer Leffe but if you want a quart of classic South African lager they have those too.
Lovely food and staff. I had so much fun playing live music there and on other occasions watching live music there! Their club salad and bobotie nachos are delicious, and they have a really interesting menu regarding food and drinks. The waiters are great with service and the kitchen is quite fast. The atmosphere at Milk Bar is such a lovely vibe. It's perfect for a Sunday lunch, taking the kids out or even a business meeting. It is a dog friendly venue, and there is a lot of stuff to do around Milk Bar as well. Will definitely be going back!
First time coming here and it was absolutely amazing! The staff are friendly. The menu has a wide variety and good pricing. I tried the wrap and it was unique as they make their own tortilla which is lovely! Portion was great and the flavours were delicious! Super comforting environment! Highly recommend this place!
I attended an event here in March, it was a large event for about 150 adults. At the same time, there were various kids parties and other events, and even though their bar area says 'no children' the kids food and activity tables were set up inside the bar. It was overcrowded and the service was exceptionally slow. The toilets were dirty and unkept - I think they had overbooked themselves. The food at the event was platter style, and was fine, but I'm not sure I'd jump to return here again
Well situated restaurant.... Well designed menu, something for everything, sadly the menu over priced food and drinks. Waited how long for service..... Eventually, I thought let's just try something small... Sadly, it was sooo dry with no sauce Served cold clearly just sitting there and not sent to table... Was a disappointment for definitely a place with so much potential.
