Well, there is a pot of hype around the venue. And the hype is purely social media hype. The service from the wait staff of sad. The shift manager great. We ordered 2x pizzas, the loco chicken one and the infamous pork one. It lacked seasoning and the based was paper thin. My son had chicken nuggets which were by far better than the pizza. This all said was the real draw card came next. The characters that came out was sky from paw patrol who couldn't keep ots heads on and then Bumble bee from transformers. That was the best of the day. The suit needs a bit of work but the character changed my view. My son lost his mind. I think with a few small changes and attention to details, this place would be gautengs Premier venue .
A friend's child had their birthday party here and it was pretty good. The food was lovely and the kids had a blast in the play area and with the themed characters. Staff were friendly and taught us the birthday dance 😂
The service we got was terrible, we had a children’s birthday celebration, the food took long, our waiter would just disappear. We had to look for him in order to get our orders in. The kids food came in different timeframe although we ordered at the same time. Other kids had to watch the others eat while they wait for their food, which was terrible However the entertainment for the kids was quite fun and they enjoyed every moment of it. Once we all received the food, it was quite tasty and delicious.
Blueberry Beacon is a Johannesburg gem for families! The fantastic play areas keep kids entertained for hours, and adults will love the good food, like their amazing pizzas, hake and fries, beef and pork ribs, and burgers. The welcoming ambience and staff who go above and beyond ensure everyone has a wonderful experience. Ace took great care of us - many thanks! We had Optimus Prime and Spider-Man come through! The kids went crazy! Plus, the convenient mall location makes it an easy outing. I highly recommend it! NB: 1. Booking is essential to secure a spot during festive and peak times. 2. It’s not wheel chair friendly - going to the bathrooms downstairs can be an issue for wheelchair users.
Lovely place for kids and hosting birthdays. It has a playground, multiple characters, coin operated machines (R5 each), and good music for both kids and adults. The vibe caters for both children and adults and the food was amazing 💯 the only downside is that when it rains one side of the building let's the rain inside and it ruins the fun and causes a bit of chaos (but I hope it's something they'll fix soon) otherwise Me and the kids had so much fun, it was hard to leave 😅
