Gias is a great breakfast/lunch spot. We were warmly welcomed and given a nice table in the shade. The service was excellent, very friendly and efficient staff. The main food was all very nice - super cute flower shaped fried eggs. There is a great play area if you have kids with you. Even a good spot for a party. We were welcomed with our dogs which is always a bonus for me. Only criticism is the coffee was just slightly small lol. And the cheesecake wasn’t the best. Otherwise we had a great time and will be back. Another thing to note is the traffic on the way there on a Sunday morning can be hectic due to the church being so close by.
Gias on Montrose Cafe & Pizzeria is situated next door to Shell- inside MONTROSE NURSERY, 66B South Rd, Morningside, Sandton, 2199 A peaceful afternoon here at the nursery sipping a refreshing cuppa Twining’s Green Tea while munching on a crispy croissant which I filled with cheddar cheese. The croissant being a tad too flaky but very fresh was a lovely afternoon treat for me. The air was crisp and cool while I imbibed the lush vegetation around me.
Easter Monday not too busy. Food was really good. Love thin crust pizza. Chicken wrap was really tasty. Coffee really good. Waitress forgot our S&P..hey ho we didn't die. Service otherwise very good 'n friendly.
Very peaceful, tranquil dining in the garden experience. They have an amazing kid-friendly/family play area which is separate from the garden eating area, works very well !
My beautiful friends hosted the most exquisite baby shower for me yesterday and it was absolutely a delight at Gia's! I've never been here before but will definitely be back! The food was exceptional! And I can't fault the service either!
