This space is really full of life and colour! Looking to get creative? We did a birthday paint theme set up and this was the perfect venue. Let’s get messy, bright colours, paint splatter and creative brains.
Our art jamming experience in Sandton was the perfect break from routine. Instead of another formal year-end function, we spent the time painting, laughing, and switching off creatively. The space was welcoming, the guidance subtle but supportive, and the atmosphere relaxed and energising. Walking away with a finished canvas, and a lighter mindset, made it both memorable and surprisingly meaningful.
Today we visited Artjamming Sandton with my child, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! The staff are incredibly professional, friendly, and well-trained, particularly when it comes to assisting children. They made sure my little one was comfortable and guided them every step of the way as they painted, creating a fun and supportive environment. It’s clear that the team is passionate about what they do, and they genuinely care about the kids’ experience. As a parent, I truly appreciated the opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy a coffee and delicious Majestic cake while my child enjoyed their painting session. The space is vibrant, inviting and more spacious than the Melrose branch, with a great ambiance and high opening windows opening out to a child friendly park with a jungle gym and bouncing castle on weekends. Katie was well organised and calm and was able to coordinate all staff well between walk-ins like us and parties. She is also an incredible artist and offers classes on Painting Classes on Thursdays, which we will definitely be joining this year! In addition to the excellent service, I was pleased to see that the shop was fully stocked with everything needed for the kids to create their masterpieces. The paints, canvases, and brushes were all in great condition, and there was a wide variety of options to choose from, which made the experience even more engaging for my child. I’ve read some previous reviews mentioning concerns about stock, but I can confidently say that the store is now well-stocked and ready to cater to all your creative needs. It’s clear that Artjamming Sandton has taken steps to improve and ensure that every visitor has the best possible experience. Overall, this is a fantastic spot for families—whether you’re looking for a fun outing with the kids or just want to unwind while they paint or play soccer in the park in viewing distance of great restaurants. I highly recommend Central Square Sandton and will definitely be returning soon!
Wonderful experience for the kids. Painting, slime, drawing. There's popcorn and drinks. The staff is attentive and very helpful. There are plenty of restaurants around for lunch afterwards. There's also a small park with a jumping castle, jungle Jim and swings.
We hosted my son’s birthday at Art Jamming Sandton on the 31st of Jan and what a pleasure it was dealing with Katie - especially with the short notice from my side. She personally handled all of the arrangements and was even present during the celebration! The venue itself is beautiful, clean and there’s a welcoming calmness to it too. Parents were able to keep a watchful eye on their kids, while enjoying pizzas and drinks from Majestic Cafe, situated right next door. The little ones had fun playing in the open field and on the jungle gym during their breaks from painting and slime making. The birthday boy had the best time and we’ll most certainly be back for more fun! All the best Katie, you’ve got a winning formula 💛
