Lively environment. Everyone is kind and the music is great. The facility has pizza, snacks and drinks. There were cute cats roaming around outside the rink. The staff is really friendly and welcoming.
Would not recommend. Flies everywhere. Scenery was just bad and the pizza was made at the entrance. I spent R160 to skate on cement. I expected better given the pictures on their website.
I went to Roll Egoli for our year-end function, and I honestly had such a great time! It was my first time skating, so the falling was real 😅 but that was part of the fun. The place has a great vibe, friendly staff, and a really nice atmosphere for groups. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, it’s a perfect spot to unwind, laugh, and just enjoy yourself. Definitely worth a visit — I’d go back! 🛼✨
Unsafe equipment and poor service — cannot recommend I had a very disappointing and unsafe experience at Rollegoli. The staff I dealt with were unprofessional and lacked basic hospitality, except for two team members who stood out positively: Talent, who tried to solve problems with humility, and a gentleman at the skating station (short hair, light‑skinned, rounded face) who also attempted to help. The manager made a good hire in those two. My main concerns: 1) The rental skates were poorly calibrated and unbalanced. The wheels pulled me in directions I didn’t want to go. I tried two different pairs and both had the same issue. My friend tested them too and had the same problem. 2) When I asked for a refund because the skates were unusable, I was told refunds aren’t given. Talent offered the option to use the payment toward other items, which was helpful, but it didn’t address the safety concern. 3) While I was there, I saw two people (one adult and one young girl) have the back wheels come off their skates. That is dangerous and unacceptable. This place is failing on basic equipment maintenance and safety. 4) There are rules posted about conduct, but those rules mean nothing if the equipment is unsafe and staff do not ensure proper maintenance. I care about this because public safety should come first — especially where children are involved. I urge management and the owners to urgently review equipment maintenance, staff training, and customer service standards. I’m willing to offer input on improvements, and I hope they take this seriously rather than simply posting a standard response. Until these issues are properly addressed, I cannot recommend Rollegoli.
Good value for money and the perfect spot for kids birthday parties as there's loads for them to get up to. There's wood fired pizza and an assortment of treats, eats and drinks available as well.
