Make sure you lock the car, carry in all that you will need because there will be no PASSOUTS, even if it is to go make sure that the door is locked or windows are closed in case it rains. the place itself is fun and the service is fine, i have been there twice in 2yrs and i would still go again. they have different entry fee for public holidays (cost more) & normal days. No tickets sold at the gate, tickets sold only ONLINE via WEBTICKET. NO GLASS Containers of any sort are allowed. no Alcohol allowed, dont even think about putting vodka in a water bottle, they will find out. their bar is not expensive so you can buy their alcohol. 28 Dec 2025
We were very early, the entrance was quick and smooth. The staff is very professional and helpful with hyping kids and adults to enjoy all slides. The braai stands were clean and we had dustbins nearby to throw trash. More slides added and another pool since I last visited, life guards are everywhere near pools and slides so we knew kids are safe. We had an amazing day, struggled with getting out of parking as now cars were parked too close, please ask security to watch out for that. Please also add more staff at the shop as we waited for over 15mins buying ice cream, only to be advised to come back 20mins later and when we got it, it was melting so fast. Thank you for a great experience, it was packed but still orderly.
We had a lovely experience at Pines Resort. We were there for a birthday party and the kids had a blast with the swimming pools. We went in January so it wasn’t packed. I’d definitely visit again.
2nd visit and it's not the last. Amazing atmosphere, kids are absolutely losing their minds with all the fun water activities. What a gem of a place out in Johannesburg. As a costal girl, I definitely approve! 👌🏻
Forgot to post this on Saturday but here it is. We did plan to go for a picnic but ended up there and we had fun as the car is forever packed and ready. Everything was smooth from buying the tickets online and getting checked. Friendly staff and very professional. Happy shift indeed. The snake slides that my little one used was the one next to the kiddies pool and behind the lapa. There's a lifeassistant with a sponge at the end. She was on this slide more often. The life assistant at the pool took turns and they were all African. Then there was one not sure if I'm correct to say coloured or Indian in shades, fuller figured. He firstly assisted few and sat down for the whole time. Only when we left. My little one told me how she asked him for help and he said " no chomie you know how to swim get out". I was so furious.... as I remember how he sat there and watched the whole time when people were pulling themselves out of the pool.
