I had an absolutely amazing experience at Croc City Crocodile Farm in Lenasia, Gauteng, South Africa. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the animals, which made the visit both educational and exciting. The farm is exceptionally well maintained, with clean walkways, informative signage, and safe enclosures that allow you to get up close to the crocodiles while feeling secure. One of the highlights was the zipline adventure — soaring above the enclosures and getting a unique perspective of the farm added an incredible thrill to the visit. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and wildlife viewing, and it’s clear that safety is a top priority. We also tried the food at the on-site café, which was surprisingly good. The menu had a variety of options, everything was fresh, well-prepared, and tasty, making it a great place to refuel after exploring the farm. The seating areas are clean and comfortable, and the staff ensured a pleasant dining experience. Overall, Croc City Crocodile Farm offers a fantastic experience for families, friends, or anyone looking for a combination of adventure, education, and nature. Between the up-close encounters with crocodiles, the thrilling zipline, and the tasty food, this is a must-visit destination that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Gauteng. Truly memorable from start to finish.
Great for kids but smaller than I thought and we waited so long at the restaurant when it was quiet, yet no one came to give us menus or serve us so we ended up leaving. However, the croc and reptile interaction was awesome and we learnt alot.
I visited croc city 10yrs ago and took my now ten yr old back. The last time and yesterday was absolutely amazing. Everyone was so friendly. The highlight of Croc City is definitely the tour guide Mr Brendon; he is so knowledgeable and so approachable. I’m not waiting another ten years to come back. My kid learnt a lot and enjoyed every moment
Absolutely amazing to visit here, it's a small attraction but they do have a lot to offer and a lot that you can learn on the tours, seeing the feeding was so cool and the snakes was impressive, definately recomend if you enjoy reptiles or have kids who would love to see all manners of reptiles
Brilliant stop during the holidays. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Brendon the guide is extremely knowledgeable and his love for animals is contagious. The pizza at the little Cafe was absolutely amazing and very well priced. The zip line was a ton of fun also. Would definitely recommend stopping by for a fun family day.
