Willow Feather Farm is honestly such a hidden gem. The moment you walk in, there’s this calm, gentle atmosphere that feels like a deep breath you didn’t know you needed. Everything is beautifully kept - clean paths, happy animals, and scenery that quietly wraps around you like a soft blanket. The staff are incredibly friendly. The Petting Zoo is an absolute delight, and the feed bags you can buy make the whole experience even sweeter - nothing beats the tiny flurry of excitement when the animals come over for a snack. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and so full of heart. This place is definitely becoming a family tradition for us - at least one visit every month. It’s just that special.

Easy to get to. Ample parking outside. I was pleasantly surprised how very serious security was watching all cars coming in and going and definitely made me feel safe parked outside. They were also very friendly once I approached one to ask if the farm was pram friendly: which it is. You first enter the nursery. It doesn't look very big and cant say much about it since my visit was to see the animals with my toddler. I was surprised to see that 1 year olds pay full price. R50 weekdays and R70 weekends. Animal feed cost and additional R50 with adorable little packed brown bags label goose/chicken/sheep/goat/pig/rabbit. The farm is very neat and clean, the pathways aren't very big but it was possible for 2 people with prams to pass each other. The bathrooms are clean and ample are available for baby changing etc. There's different play areas including an indoor one. Also a smaller jungle gym for toddlers. Lots of eating tables outside available and then possible the star of everything: jumping pillows. This was my first time coming across such a thing but I definitely liked it over trampolines and jumping castles and its basically a cross between the two. My 1 year old really enjoyed himself. Theres a small one for under 6 and a bigger one where adults also jumped with their older kids. We will definitely be back. I enjoyed the outing. Bring a Picnic basket 🧺

It's peaceful and tranquil. There are lots of places you can walk around and sit and have a picnic. There are a few animals that can be fed, but there aren't a lot of them. There is an entrance fee and if you do want to go for a picnic just be aware that if you have heavy things to carry, the parking is a bit far from the farmyard/picnic centre. You can host kid's birthday parties here and there are lots of places to play.

This was such a beautiful experience with the kids.. They loved feeding the animals and the play area even more, I will definitely be visiting again this time going early to enjoy the nature surroundings. The nursery staff is super helpful and patient with a plus as I wanted to buy a plantband needed guidance in taking care of it

We used to visit Willow Feather Farm all the time when my daughter was younger. We decided to go back today because of all the great memories and I must admit I was disappointed. It cost R250 for 2 children and 1 adult to enter and that included 2 bags of food for the animals. I understand about the conservation but I found that quite pricy. If we had gone to the zoo it would have been R30 more. Our goal was to have lunch because we remembered amazing meals with decadent cake. There were 2 staff members working on a computer and the restaurant was empty. I realised why when I saw they only have pizzas, quiche and muffins. Really disappointing. So we paid R250 to feed some animals and had to drive to another restaurant to get a meal. For a family of 4 or 5 it works out to be an expensive outing.
