What a wonderful experience. Just 30 minutes drive from Johannesburg, you get to experience berry picking, sunflower picking, cycling, hiking, a small but quality market with food and more, live music, great products and more. Great for couples small and larger groups. Fun for children and they have a great playground. It is great for families. What a great place. Absolutely love it. Booking essential. And worth it.
So, the Berries are MANY, tasty and set in a beautiful environment. All of the promises made, implicitly and explicitly are easily met and you're sure to enjoy one of those magical days. It's an easy decision. Just book and go. The exceptional thing about Field Berries, is their Kind disposition. I had a somewhat out of the ordinary request and it was met with kindness. For us, this kindness made our day truly enjoyable and we left the venue just that little bit more buoyant, just because the people at Field Berry Farm are kind. Kindness along with a perfect product and vibrant venue makes for a truly delightful day outing. And do try the ice cream.... 😁
The Field berry farm, is a beautiful, adorable place, such an amazing set up in natural surroundings. My children and I loved and enjoyed picking berries. We loved the berry and lemon slush, the seating on hay and the variety of food stall. Management and staff was so welcoming and friendly. An ideal family outing.
My family and I had such a lovely fun-filled day. We enjoyed a 5km hike which has such beautiful trees and plants to admire. We then picked out some fresh blackberries and raspberries that were so tasty. Luckily they do have a Halaal food vendor. Unfortunately the food took an hour and we ordered just strips and chips - we were quite disappointed in their service and would recommend some improvement. We then enjoyed some yummy Gluten Free brownies, ice cream, iced coffee and slush at the café. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would definitely come again!
We spent a short while here on a saturday morning.. everything was excellent from the online booking to the directions on website.. my 5 year old had a blast picking berries . We enjoyed the raspberry slush and soaking up the atmosphere.. we were pleased to see different food vendors and one that catered halaal.. we had sone strips and chips and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is truly a lovely experience .. esp for families with young children.. wish we had more time to spend here and will definitely be back. My 5 year old also thouroughly enjoyed the book thats available on sale about how the farm came to be.. he loved reading it there and he loved how everything in the book came to life at the farm. Def a must buy.
