Why families love it
Thanda Tau is such a lovely stop when travelling with the kids. It feels like much more than just a quick roadside break, with beautiful gardens, a play park and wildlife for the kids to enjoy while you can relax and grab something to eat or drink. We love that there is plenty of space for the little ones to explore and stretch their legs, while there are also great food options for the whole family. It is definitely one of those stops that makes a long N3 journey feel a little easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
