Spanning 85 hectares of pristine grounds, the National Zoological Garden (NZG) is a world-class conservation and research hub managed by the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI). The zoo is home to roughly 5,000 animals, featuring a Gorilla Complex, a dedicated Rhino enclosure, an extensive reptile collection, and the largest inland marine aquarium in the country. Visitors can explore the vast property on foot, rent golf carts, ride a mini-train, or take the scenic cableway up to the top of the ridge for panoramic skyline views.
